Everything You Need to Know
...about the botox, tox-ing
Which neurotoxin do you use?
We carry Jeuveau, Daxxify, Xeomin, and Dysport. & no, you don’t need to know the difference before you come in.
They all relax targeted muscles. The difference comes down to how your body responds, how quickly you want results, how long you want them to last, and what area we’re treating.
That’s why we don’t push one brand on everyone. But, each brand has it's own loyalty and rewards system!
So… which one is “best”?
The best option is the one that works best for you.
Some people love a quicker onset.
Some want longer-lasting results.
Some metabolize one product faster than another.
We factor in:
-
your facial anatomy
-
how expressive you are
-
areas being treated (11s vs jaw vs crow’s feet)
-
your past experience (if any)
-
your lifestyle + goals
Then we choose the option that gives you the most natural, balanced result. We do not prioritize which will have you use the most units or has the trendiest name. It might just be that that's what we drew up for that day!
Can I switch between products?
Of course!
Different neurotoxins, same philosophy:
natural movement, thoughtful dosing, and results that still look like you.
If you’re unsure where to start, that’s completely normal. That’s what a consultation is for!
What can Botox actually help with?
Botox isn’t just for wrinkles. We commonly use it for:
-
11s (frown lines): softens the “I’m stressed/annoyed” look
-
Forehead lines: smooths lines while keeping your expression natural
-
Crow’s feet: softens lines around the eyes without changing your smile
-
Eyebrow asymmetry/subtle brow lift: small tweaks to help balance + open the eyes
-
Chin tox (mental crease/dimpling): smooths “pebble chin” texture and tension
-
Lip flip: a subtle lip enhancement that relaxes the upper lip so it rolls out a bit more (not filler)
-
DAO downturned corners: helps lift the “resting frown” at the mouth corners
-
Masseters (jaw slimming + clenching): relaxes overworked jaw muscles for a softer jawline and can help with TMJ tension from clenching
-
Migraines: some patients get relief with targeted treatment (best discussed based on your history + goals)
Men-tox aka "Bro-tox"
Men get Botox too — they just usually don’t call it that. "Men-tox" focuses on softening deep lines while keeping a strong, masculine look. The approach is different: muscles are typically stronger, expressions are heavier, and the goal isn’t “smooth” — it’s less tired, less stressed, more put-together. So bring in your husband, boyfriend, SO, situationship, brother, dad, uncle. Men deserve self-care without judgment too!
Jaw Slimming (Masseter Botox)
If you clench, grind, or carry tension in your jaw, the masseter muscles can become overworked and bulky over time. Botox helps relax these muscles, which can soften the jawline and create a more tapered facial shape but also helping with tension and jaw discomfort for many patients. Results are gradual and subtle, not very drastic.

11s (Frown Lines)
The 11s are those vertical lines between the brows that can make you look tired, stressed, or unintentionally annoyed. Botox relaxes the muscles responsible for this movement, helping the area look smoother and more relaxed — while still allowing natural expression.

Eyebrow Symmetry
Most faces aren’t perfectly symmetrical, and that’s normal. Small, strategic amounts of Botox can help balance the brows by relaxing muscles that pull one side down more than the other and lifting the sister eyebrow so they meet in the middle. The goal isn't to achieve perfection, that's impossible. But it’s a subtle lift and more even, refreshed look around the eyes. And less mornings trying to even them with an Anastasia brow pencil.

Why do you recommend a 2‑week touch‑up?
Everyone’s muscles respond differently. A touch‑up isn’t because something went wrong. It’s how we make sure your results are even and intentional. Small adjustments at 2 weeks help avoid overdoing it later. This is when we can also add-on any areas that you were on-the-fence about.
Touch-ups from your prior treatment are always included.
